Company History

1960

Delavan Manufacturing of Des Moines created a new division called Mid Central Plastics.

1968

The first injection molding machine produced by the Cincinnati Milling & Grinding Company was purchased for $43,825. Clamping force of 375 tons with a 32 oz. barrel.

1976

Delavan Manufacturing sells Mid Central Plastics to Sheldon Goreham.

1993

Sheldon Goreham dies and MCP is inherited by the 3 surviving children, Richard, Dee, and Willam Goreham.

1998

Mid Central Plastics is sold to Morton Industrial Group and began doing business as Morton Custom Plastics.

2003

Morton Custom Plastics is purchased by Robert Janeczko, Josh Janeczko, and Stuart Oxer and Innovative Injection Technologies (i2-tech) is formed.

2006

John Deere inducts i2-tech into its Achieving Excellence Supplier Hall of Fame.

2007

Plastics News names i2-tech its Processor of the Year.

2010

i2-tech celebrates its 50th anniversary.

2015

i2-tech founder Dr. Robert Janeczko retires and sells his remaining stock to his son, Josh Janeczko.

2020

Plastics News awards i2-tech its Sustained Excellence Award.

2021

i2-tech purchases its largest molding machine, an Engel 4,400 ton with 654 oz. barrel.

2023

Named to Plastics News Top 100 Molders.
